During 2008 Amnis trained over 2,500 people in a wide range of skills from Lean to Cultural Change and from Value Stream Mapping to People Based Project Management.
Of the total of 2,500 people, over 1,000 were trained on our flagship 'Improvement Practitioners Programme' and 'Accelerated Lean Skills Programme' which included those who attended the Open Programmes we ran with Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust and Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust, as well as our highly popular open programmes we ran in Oxford and Manchester last year.
A further 250 were trained during joint sessions with our partners at the Institute of Operations Management and the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, including participants from the MOD, Astra Zeneca, TK Maxx, Asda, Sainsburys and the Post Office, many of whom have gone on to undertake further training with our team on site.
Others have been trained in the skills of People Based Project Management by our project management group (headed by the very able Gerry McAuley and John Field) as well as our Transformation Mapping and Strategic Planning Training (led by the equally able Davinder Virdi).
The remainder have been involved in focused workshops on Value Stream Mapping, Executive Team Development Sessions and a wide range of Organisational Development topics, including Conflict Resolution (delivered by Susan Williams) and Patient Safety (delivered in partnership with our colleagues at Det Norske Veritas).
This year Amnis already have over 30 booked training programmes including 6 Accelerated Lean Skills Programmes, 2 Improvement Practitioners Programmes and 2 People Based Project Management Programmes, plus a further 6 workshops being delivered in partnership with the Institute of Operations Management.
With the many hundreds of testimonials we have received over the year we have highlighted the one provided by Melanie Griffith (Cancer Performance Manager at Basingstoke & North Hants NHS Foundation Trust) for it simplicity.
