Amnis are delighted to announce that two of our flagship Lean Development Programmes have been recognised by the Institute of Healthcare Management (IHM) and now participants can qualify for the award of CPD Points.

With so many problems in Primary Care requiring options to be explored in detail it is no wonder that many PCTs feel overwhelmed by the decisions that need to be made. Should commissioning and provider arms be seperated more formerly in a different organisation, or retained within the organisation but seperated by a 'Chinese wall'. What about the impact of applications to form social enterprises to deliver services and also the impact on the Acute Sector of the transfer of care back into the community, what does that do to their financial models?
Delayed transfer of care can seriously reduce the overall capacity of an organisation, as well as affecting patient safety and experience.
With World Class Commissioning as the 'order of the day' within many healthcare organisations and many organisations struggling to find the right way to go, Amnis has been working with several PCTs to help them align their activities, identify where they are on the journey toward being 'World Class' and implement improvements in areas of weakness.
