An exciting Lean Healthcare experiment

If you have read other material from Amnis either on this blog or from our newletter or other communications you will know that we focus our Lean Healthcare efforts on not only improving Organisational Effectiveness but also on using it to improve Patient Safety, Patient Experience and Clinical Outcomes.

How integrated is your Lean Healthcare programme?

With many Healthcare Organisations undertaking numerous Service Improvement Programmes is begs the question about how integrated their Lean Healthcare Programme is into their overall improvement strategy....or indeed if they have one!

New Year, New Focus for your Lean Programme

Welcome to 2008!

If 2007 was the year for acquiring the skills of Lean and experimenting with your first projects, then 2008 should be the year for learning how to embed these skills inside your organisation.

A Lean Healthcare organisation is one that is continuously improving and not just one that can reliably apply the tools. This requires some work to be done on structuring your programme, communicating with your staff, applying resources and engaging your front line teams in implementation activities.
